Even though we are far away in distance, our sadness and tears are no less for you and your family on the loss of your husband and father. Tom was such a wonderful man. We all have good memories of him through the years. He was so involved in the PASCO organization. I know that Virgil enjoyed working with him so much on Ameri-Flora and the Asian Festivals and all of the other activities. I am sure that everyone appreciated his dedication to the Filipino community and to his family. For me, he was always a welcome face in the crowd, sometimes he and I were the only two people in the room with light hair! He was always so nice to me, making me feel welcome at the parties, especially when Virgil and I were first dating and going to the PASCO events. It was so nice of him to always talk to me. My boys recalled going to your home and farm for Pig Roasts and also to pick strawberries. They were young but they really enjoyed picking the strawberries with grandma and making dessert for everyone at her house. I know that Dr. V. thought the world of Tom too, that just goes without saying and Lina is heartbroken for you. Our tears could fill a river right now and we wish we could be there for you in person but our thoughts and prayers will have to do for now in this time of grief. May your wonderful memories of him bring you comfort now and the love of your family, friends and the Lord Jesus Christ fill you up with only joy and the peace that this world cannot give. We have never forgotten you, Tom or your children. Sending love to you from our family, Virgil, Sharon, Michael and Daniel Villavecer Also Rosalina Villavecer and Elena Dulay
I am so sorry to hear that Tom has passed over and in such a hard way. Orfie, you and Tom were such a fun filled blessing to all of us at the Jitterbug Cafe and in the Sockhop Club in Columbus. I miss you and will always carry with me, only the most pleasant thoughts of the happiness you and Tom shared. He would not want you to be afraid, Orfie, but will watch over you always.
We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with Dr. Miller and his family and friends. May God be with you.
God Bless the family. I will miss you Tom where our business together became friendship. I will do whatever I can to help your family.
We are so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We have such fond memories when we were preparing for the Nipa Hut for the July 4th parade. Tom, may your body and soul rest in peace.
Orfie, may God grant you peace and understanding during this time of griefing.

My heartfelt sympathies to all the family. Tom taught me a lot about construction/carpentry when I worked for him in high school. This tragedy caused me to reflect on many memories, but here are a few to note:
• My first week on the job, after he taught me how to work a circular saw, I cut the cord off. He was totally patient with the mistake.
• Another greenhorn moment came when we were on ladders siding a house. I leaned out too far nailing and the ladder flipped and slid into Tom - who grabbed the ladder and threw us back safely to the wall. We were 20 feet up. He was totally patient with my mistake.
• Yet again another time, I dropped my hammer from a ladder and it hit his head while working below me. He simply said: "You gotta watch that".
The point: He was always a gracious and kind man. I wish I could be talking with him now to tell him that.
My prayers to all related as family or friend!
Tom gave us a gift for life when he built a beautiful deck on the back of our house. When we are out there, which is quite often, we always feel grateful that he built it for us. Tom, you will always be in our hearts. Steve and I will miss you.
We lost a very dear friend. We are comforted by cherished memories of this friendship and the thought that he is in a good place now.

I only knew Tom for a week. He was doing a remodeling job for us at the time of his death. But in that small amount of time I saw what a gentle and caring person he was. My thoughts are with your family.
ALL of us in the Filipino community in and around Columbus, Ohio who has the pleasure of meeting, associating and working with you are TRULY saddened of losing you. You are a kind-hearted, ready to extend help at any cost, positive approach in your involvement in so many community projects you help complete, your meticulousness and doing it "right"...and oh....so many others too long to mention. From the group of bible study at Roland Amployo, our Pastor DAVE CUTTAR,In Psalm:23,The lord is my shepherd;I shall not want;2He maketh me to lie down in green pasture:he leadeth me beside the still waters.3He restoreth my soul;he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.4Yea,though i walk through the valleyof the shadow of death,i will fear no evil;for thou art with me;thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;thou anoitest my head with oil;my cup runnethover.6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;and i willdwell in the house of the lord for ever, amen

Distance and long absence did not diminish the sadness that we felt upon hearing the sad news. We still remember the time we sang Christmas carols at your place and the big smile on Tom's face. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared,
comfort you and your family now and in the days ahead.

He's such a loving influence! THANK YOU for being my Columbus Dad. I KNEW I could call anytime and he would be there to tow me out of a snowy ditch across town in the middle of the night.
