Marie, I am so very sorry for your loss. I only found out today. Tom was a very good man. I am sure he will be missed by many. Now he is with Todd. Love you
Marie and family, you guys are so close to my heart that I feel like we are family. I spent quite a bit of time at your house with Todd. He was a great friend and a great person. From Todd, I got to know you and Tom. Tom was a funny, loving man. He told many a good story. He helped me so much. When I was down he would give me rides to different places. He never tried to belittle me or make me feel guilty. To this day, I don't know why he did it. He helped me. As I think of him, maybe I can pass a helping hand onto someone else. I will never forget Tom Renaker. God Bless.
Marie, You'll never know what an impact you & Tom made in my life. My memories immediately go to all those wonderful trips that your family shared with all us girl scouts of troop 24. Tom was always such a trooper - driving all the way to Florida w/ a pickup truck filled w/ pre-teen girls headed to Daytona Beach, chaperoning the Am Trak train ride to Chicago, and always the extra troop leader & home-away-from-home Dad at the various girl scout camps. You both made such a lifelong, lasting impression on me, and I have to believe many, many others. Tom's patience, kindness and willingness to volunteer his free time for all of us girls is something I will always treasure and dear close in my heart. I truly believe I am one of those lucks ones that I was blessed in having you both in my life as a child, and I am especially honored to have reconnected with you both as an adult. Thank you for always sharing Tom with us. And I thank Tom for always sharing his blessings & most importantly his time, with all us silly little girls.
With much love and a heart filled with happy memories, I wish you and your family my deepest condolence.
Marie and Family, Know that as Tom passes over the rainbow, he will take God's hand in the light of love and be with your son, Todd. They will be together forever and ever. May Tom's journey be peaceful and loving as his spirit touches the light of love and the "golden cars of heaven". Know we are here for you, if you need us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God be with you in your time of sorrow.
