I just learned of your passing. I am shocked and saddened. You were an honorable man and friend. Memories of Grand Forks, Vandenberg, kids growing up... never to be forgotten. It was an honor to serve with you -- I salute you. Rest in peace.
Mr Tom resha was a wonderful man! He would give you the
shirt off his back if he had to even if he wasn't wearing a shirt he had a heart made of
gold . I will miss u deeply and always know what you did in my life . My future in fire dept . Is a legacy to and for u . I love u . My heart and prayers are with you.
To the Resha Family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. It is hard on those who are left behind who did not have a chance to give Tom a hug and tell him how much we Loved and Respected him. He will be missed so much.
Tom was a better brother to me than my own brothers. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor. I will not forget him.
Tom was more like a son than a son-in-law to us. We were blessed to have him for the short time we did. We'll always miss his "Love Y'all" when he ended a call. Loved YOU-all, Tom!
I've just finished reading all the wonderful things everyone had to say about Tom and it's obvious that many people from all over the country loved and respected him. I also loved and respected him. I've known Tom for 18 years and I had the privilege of being with him when he passed away. Tom had come to see me in Minnesota to help out with some heavy duty work on my farm. He was looking forward to trimming trees, putting in some fence posts and riding my recently restored John Deere 40 tractor. Tom didn't make it to my farm. He became ill while still 30 miles away and called me to come get him. Instead, I called an ambulance and met them at the hospital. I'm very grateful for the squeeze Tom gave my hand when I got there. The squeeze told me he knew I was there and he wasn't alone. I stayed with him at the hospital for the next 24 hours, holding his hand and talking to him. I'm sorry he didn't get to see the apple blossoms or the fantastic green of the pasture on my farm. I'm sorry I no longer have this wonderful man in my life. I miss his funny texts and his phone calls. I miss our heated political discussions. I miss his laugh. I am comforted knowing how much love he gave and received from all of you. I am comforted knowing I will see him again.
Our hearts go out to the Resha Family. Tom was a wonder person and friend. Our friendship goes back to 1978 when we were 2Lts. Tom will be missed. God bless you all.
Tom was the best supervisor and friend a person could have. He maintained his mission vision and personal integrity when others gave in to pressure. Tom's leadership and unwaivering dedication to his troops ensured those he led were successful in their AF careers; especially my own. Any hour of the day Tom was there to listen, provide sound advice and pitch in and help whenever needed. Hi sense of humor was a morale saver particularly when the situation looked dim. His committment to the community is unequalled. He truly cared and would always find a way to help. God Blessed us with Tom.
Tom was a great leader, mentor and friend. Our thoughts and prayers to out to his family--he will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Tom was a wonderful friend, leader and always made me smile. I will truly miss him. My thoughts and prayers for his family.
My heart goes out to Tom's family and friends. He was a dear friend and fellow Fire Fighter. God rest your soul. See you on a beautiful trail in the future. RIP you will be missed by many. Xoxo

My thoughts and prayers go out to Tom's family. He was a great comrade in the Space Battlelab and a good friend always. Tom will be missed.
Tom's family is in our prayers... I shared in Tom's legacy in the Space Battlelab, arriving about the time he departed, but his stories and legacy definitely carried on long after he left the Battlelab.
I am so sorry to hear the news. Tom was such a character, he always put a smile on my face. He will be missed.
My heart goes out to his family.
Tom's humor, that wry smile, made my days with him at the Air Force Space Battlelab fun. I look forward to seeing him in heaven!
My prayers and thoughts go out to Tom's family in this sad time. To say Tom was a great guy is a vast understatement. I consider myself very lucky to have known and worked for and with him. He remained a close friend after we both retired from the Air Force. He always looked out for the other guy/gal. He WILL be missed!!
Deepest sympathy to the family. I was privileged to know him in his early days in Birmingham, to know his parents and sisters, his children, and to console them this past week. Keep in touch !!

Tom was a genuinely good guy who I had the greatest respect for. I know he will be missed by the many people who knew and liked him like me.
Tom was a gallant, honorable and steadfast friend...Carolyn and I will miss him dearly...he was my wife's friend and comforter when she needed him, he was to me a boss, a brother and a comrade in arms...we worked, laughed and cried together, he hired me and fired me...i trusted this man implicitly...and now our hearts are broken at your passing...our only consolation is that we have now met your family and truly see that you imparted more love on this earth.
May the Lord Bless you and keep you Uncle Tom. You were an amazing man who had a huge heart. To my famliy, especially his kids, may God shelter you, comfort you, and give you the strength to make it through this difficult time. Love you!!!
Rest in peace my good friend and comrade. It was an honor and privilege to have known you and serve with you. I will truly miss you.
