Mr Adame worked with my Father Melecio Rios at the Nuclear Power Plant. I have so much respect for the Adame Family. I now have a Family of my own and I intend to try my best to raise my kids just the same way Mr Adame did. You will be missed.
Mr. Adame, was a role model to my brothers and a neighbor to my family. He was a proud man an you saw it every time you passed the house he would wave hello with a smile. Thank you

Dear Mrs. Adame, Tony, Jr, Nacho and Kelly Adame, Matt and Suzette Adame, Lena Saguing; Delia Ortiz; Ernie and Jesus Martinez; and Rylee, Nacho, Jr., Jenna, Neenah, Jaysenia, Destiny, and Nayeli Adame:
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Adame. He was such a great person and had a tremendous influence and impact on so many lives including mine. I remember my years playing on the Siegel Brothers Little League team. I remember the crack of his bat when we were taking infield and praying the ball wouldn't jump up and hit me practicing on the rocky field at Laurel. And I still hear him saying, "Come on Guerito, let's go, get a hit!"
You have my deepest condolences and are all in my prayers. May God bless you and May God be with you.
Mark "Guerito" Wilhelm
Siegel Brothers Little League Team Alum
I have a couple favorite memories of my Tio is on my graduation day he gave me good advice or I should say lecture :) I loved him for that cause it was something that stood with me all my life that moment on. I have a funny memory of my Tio Tony is when my brother Popito slept over and for lunch my Tio gave him a cold hot dog on a folded up bread old school style LOL my brother never ate a hot dog like that and complain later to my mom about it. I thought it was hilarious the look on my brothers face was pricless.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the Adam family. My best memories is when you'll would come down to my house and cousin Tony would be talking and telling stories. He will deeply be missed. We love you'll, love the Rosa Family.
Our deepest sympathy to the Adame family at their time of sorrow. Tony will be missed by all whose lives he touched in the neighborhood. If a guy from the Eastside played any football, baseball, or basketball...he met Tony. Our family knows that he is up there with Ruben, my mom, and her sister waiting to see the all-class football game next month! At least they will know that the Pirates will win one way, or another!! All of our love The Raibons
Dear Adame Family,
Well our favorite memory is when we would go out there for a Charger vs. Raider game, or just to visit. We would make sure we would ALL be dressed up in our favorite gear of the Raiders just to get to hear Mr. Adame yell at us. LOL!!! He would see us from far and would start telling us "NO RAIDERS FANS ALLOWED IN THE HOUSE". Of course Mr. Adame wouldnt chase us away but would give us a hug and let us in the house. Oh and if we would lose to the Chargers we knew we wouldnt hear the end of it especially if the game happened to be on that day. You will be missed Mr. Adame we just might not wear our Raider gear anymore out there because it just wont be the same without you!!!! ;(
1.Your pops was my first little league coach for Siegle Brother Theaters. He was on us and hitting the hardest ground balls during infield practice. I think I've got a permanent bruise from one I took off my right arm lol.
2. When he invited us over to watch a blacked out charger game off of your satellite during the Dan Fouts era. For a 10 year old that was the best!
Tony was always asking my sister an I about how basketball was going. He was like part of our Godinet family. My sisters an I grew up with the kids, hanging at the boys and girls club ..although we are not with you during this difficult time we are with u in heart and spirit. We love you all ....ALOHA, FROM KAUAI ~Lainee Carvalho and Family
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Dear Dorothy and family and All the Adame family, we were so sorry to recieve the bad news about Tony's passing. He was a very special guy to all of us. Always so cheerful and so sincere with his friendship . We
attended his services and they were beautiful . Suzanna Tony Jr, Nacho and Matt gave such wonderful tributes to Tony and I'm sure he heard them. The attendance was testamony of how much he was loved
May the Lord BLESS each and everyone of you and may His loving presense bring comfort to you and help see you through. May you know there are others who care about you and share in the loss that you feel. He is now with the Lord.
Love always, Cuco and Evie Magana and Family.
Dorothy & all the Adame family,
I have fond memories of all the times we spent together attending OHS Booster Club meetings, manning the snack bars at games, and making enchiladas for a fundraiser. We all worked well as a team to support our Pirate teams. Tony was so proud of that! I saw Tony a few weeks ago at Walmart and got a big hug from him. For all you've done for others Tony --"Well done good & faithful servant"...
You will be missed!
I first met Tony in February of 1954 when I enrolled at Oceanside Carlsbad Union High School. He was a fellow classmate, fellow teammate and good friend. With a ready smile and a warm welcome for whomever he met, Tony made you feel good just by being around him. I can honestly say that I never met anyone that didn't like Tony. We played on two championship football teams together at OCUHS in the fall of 1954 and 1955 and we were teammates on the Deadeyes basketball team.
If anyone deserves to be in the Oceanside High School Hall of Fame it is Tony. The time and energy he devoted to the Boosters Club, the snack bar and Little League, he did so with a passion. I plan on nominating Tony for this honor - one that he certainly deserves.
I will certainly miss Tony. He will live forever in the hearts of all of us who knew him. I thank God
for allowing Tony to be a part of my life.

To the entire Adame family,
Our Families have Loved and Cherished each other for most of our lives. In the Spirit of Love and Acceptance, We have been honored and privileged to be embraced by all of you who see us as Family. Nana Lolita and Compa Tony had a lot to do with this for almost
50 years, from the very beginning. Compadre Tony always Lived simply, Loved Generously, Cared Deeply,& Spoke kindly (If you were an OHS Pirate, Padre or Charger fan.)
Most importantly, he was Spiritually Empowered, he trusted in God our creator who loves us.
Compa Tony will always be one of my heroes. A man who led by example and always did what was right. He understood and had the courage to admit he was imperfect, yet no matter what he did, he did his very best. When most think of themselves first, Compa Tony always displayed compassion and kindness placing others first( Well with in reason, if a pay per view fight was on that he wanted to watch, the TV was his for the night.) He had such an ability to connect with people , at all levels.
I believe this came from being himself being authentic, while accepting others for who they are.
My fondest memories will always be getting home and finding my Dad and his Compadre (Tio Tony) bantering back and forth about sports, family and life....
I will miss him very much, but feel privilaged to have had him in my life.
We will forever have Compa Tony and the Adame Family in our thoughts and Prayers, We love you all..
May God be with you and continue to bestow his blessings on all of you.

Dorothy, Tony, Nacho, and Matt,
It was such an honor and privilege to know and work with your dad. He was a man of great integrity and gentleness of spirit who knew how to serve with faithfulness and humility. He was a great example to all of us of how to love. I'll miss him in the stands at the football and baseball games at OHS, but I know that the Lord has a special reserved spot for him in His personal skybox to watch the Pirates play. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

Dear Dorothy, Tony Jr., Nacho & Matt, I'm truly sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of playing little league baseball for Tony, as well as being around him at various sporting events at Oceanside High. Dear Dorothy and Tony Adame Jr; Nacho and Kelly Adame, Matt and Suzette Adame, Lena Saguing; Delia Ortiz; Ernie and Jesus Martinez; and Rylee, Nacho, Jr., Jenna, Neenah, Jaysenia, Destiny, and Nayeli Adame:
I am heartbroken to hear word that Tio Tony Adame has died. You have my deepest condolences. I am sending positive thoughts and energy your way so please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry that I never got a chance to say good-bye, and I will miss Tio Tony Adame because he moved me in so many ways.
It is so difficult to express how I feel. I remember growing up and paying a visit with Tio Tony Adame, Mama Lola, Tia Soco and Tia Maggie, Uncle Dave, Uncle Ramiro, Grandma Jovita, and our Mother, Esperanza Valentina Duarte Chavez. Tio Tony was such generous member of our family. We all had such wonderful times together way back then!
Teilhard de Chardin, the French Geologist said,
“You are not a human being in search of a spiritual experience. You are a spiritual being immersed in a human experience.”
And, like Tio Tony Adame, we are free to pursue new journeys, and we are free to experience new discoveries while our spirits too learn what it is like to be human.
If I should live to be half the man Tio Tony Adame is, I ought to consider my life to be fulfilled. But if I should live to become the man that Tio Tony Adame: our wise elder and a brilliant & outstanding a 'role model whose spiritual being, together, along with my mother, Esperanza, have taught us to truly to appreciate what it's like to learn to be human.
Please know our love and support will always be here for you. We will keep you all in our prayers.
May God bless you and May God be with you.
