thoughts and parayers to family at this sad time
I just learned of Miss Virginia's passing today. My condolences go out to the family and friends of the grandest of the Southern ladies. Miss Virginia was a rarity. No matter what she faced, she saw not only her glass as half full, but running over. She loved life, laughter, and had a good time no matter where she was or what she was doing. She leaves that as her legacy to all that she knew. Her style and joy in life was infectious. She will be missed by all who knew her and whose paths crossed hers. Virginia was one of my favorite people on the planet and I will certainly miss her, but I am blessed to say that I have terrific memories & great stories that she shared with me in the years that I knew her! I feel blessed to have known her and will always think of her with a smile, because she always wore one as her "calling card."
My condolences to the family. Ms. Virginia was a sweet friend, and she will be missed. I loved her stories about growing up with my dad, James Edward Vaughn- and the fun they had as children. I very much admired her.

I worked for a time with Virginia. I admired her love for life, a great people person, her love for antiques and her home in the Country, and her love for her family. She had a gift of making you feel special each time you spoke with her. I will miss talking with her but I know she is dancing in Heaven. I pray God will comfort Virginia's family at this time.
Dear Dennis and Leah - We continue to hold you in our hearts and prayers during this time of loss. Your mother was a beautiful, strong, genteel Southern Lady in every sense of the word. She was a special person to all she encountered. We will miss her warm, generous, loving smile and her pound cake! She was a second mother to us as we grew up. I know she wanted to beat the fire out of us sometimes, but she always ending up laughing at our antics!! What a Blessing she was to everyone that crossed her path.
Miss Virginia was truly a wonderful lady. She was my sales person during her Arrow/USOP days. She loved family so much, and always had time for us to discuss ours after we "took care of business". My family eventually moved to Olive Branch and I would run into her at various places around town, and we would still stop and have those conversations. She loved working for the Chamber and was such an ambassador for the city. My prayers are with you all.
Jacque, Dennis and Families,
So sorry to hear about your mom. I have some precious memories of her back when we were teenagers. May God comfort all of you at this time.
Sorry I can't be there, but my thoughts and prayers have been with you all week. I am so glad to have known Granny and spend time with her. I learned alot about southern charm and history. I can still picture her dancing the night away. Rest in peace, my "Strawberry Cake Queen"
Aunt Virginia was someone Judy and I always loved and admired. She was so full life and being around her you always felt good. Aunt Virginia and Judy loved each other so much. They are together in HEAVEN.
May The Lord bless you with peace during this time. I loved my Aunt Virginia so, always looking forward to seeing her and visiting about all kinds of things. I know my sweet mother met her at the gates of heaven and gave her the grand tour. I will be praying for you all and I will cherish my memories of my sweet Aunt Virginia.
May God comfort you in the lost of this precious lady. My mom and her mom were "double first cousins"...so she always said that we were more than
cousins. I loved her dearly,
Janie and Eddie Murphy
