I was so sorry to hear of Walter's passing. I have the best of memories of him-he could be gruff and gentle, stern and funny and always someone upon whom I could rely when we worked together. I will always remember him with fondness and respect. My love and prayers for all of you.

We are so sorry for your loss. It saddens us greatly. We were so fortunate to see him before he went into the hospital.
Ed says, "I can remember when Walter joined the airport police. He was very quiet and some of the guys didn't know how to take him. I found Walter to be a very good friend and we always got along well together.I guess it was because we had the same attitude and beliefs."
Walter has fought his last battle and is now in the arms of his Lord.
He will be greatly missed by us.
We won't be able to be at the viewing or funeral as we leave at 4am on Friday to go out of state. Our prayers of comfort are with you all

God comforts us in our sorrow at the passing of Walter to eternal rest. Your choir family has you covered in prayer every moment of every day.
Cat - You and the family were blessed with the love of a good man but you know that. We recall all the good times we had and despite the kidding, think he was proud to be a Busy Bee husband. Love, Mary and Phil
Cathy, I am so sorry to hear of Walter's passing. I remember a few months after our trip to Rome as Lori and I sat at your dining table having lunch with you and Walter. Also as I occasionally drove by your house, I would see him out in the garden in the front yard, tending it. May his soul rest in God's loving peace. You and your family are in my prayers. Pat Dillon
