Walt was a one of a kind guy. I never could decide if he or Howie Long had the better crewcut or smile. Because of Deb, he invited several of the Southeast teachers to his house on meet-the-parent nights. Those were some lasting memories. What a great sense of humor he had! The photo of him at Christmas was wonderful---two of my favorite people from a family I've come to love. It is comforting to envision hime with Janet, the others who left before him, and all the dogs he ever owned a celestial version of Palmyra or a Florida community. I'm certain he'll still be fixing things, dispensing advice and solving problems. I'm not so sure what the policy is for mixed drinks and cursing. But he will love watching all his family of whom he was so proud. Jack and I will miss Walt. All of you are in our thoughts at this time of adjustment.

To all the "Marik" family, we will miss our Cousin Walter. Our condolences to all. Lovingly from Norman & Dorothy Marik
I am so sorry for your loss. My mom, Alice Mae (Henderson) Shambach thought so highly of your Mom and Dad. She knew them all of her life and I was named after your sister, Susan. I remember as a little girl going to the hall where they had Eastern Star and your Mom and Dad were so good to me. Mom has alzheimers pretty bad, but can remember the past. I will let her know your Mom & Dad are together again
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss.
