Bill, you will be forever missed by many that came through the doors at Lynn's, you big smile, your help in every way, but your friendship most of all. God be with your family and your longtime companion Dianne.

Lynn's will not be the same for us without Bill at the front door. He always had a kind and welcoming greeting. No doubt St Peter has him at the desk by the Pearly Gate, and with a friendly smile Bill is asking everyone who arrives to sign in as a Guest or Member. Bill, may you dance forever.

Harriet and Sharon - You know you are in my thoughts...glad I got to see him last year - it was like the years peeled away as we talked and laughed. He still had that same smile and the same twinkle in his eyes. My love to you both with a smile and a tear for Bil.

So many wonderful words; but not anything as wonderful as that heartfelt smile and hug that Bill had for everyone who crossed his path. It was always great to see him and Dianne sitting together or dancing their favorite songs. We all share in the loss of our beloved Bill; our hearts go out to Bill's mother, Dianne and his big loving famiy. Jan & Wade

Bill and I were best friends in High School. We had lots of great times, especially at Myrtle Beach 3 summers in a row. After graduation. we drifted apart when I moved to Birmingham and then the NC Mtns.
Although we were seldom in touch, I think of him often and fondly and will miss him.

Bill always had a smile and a hug and it won't feel the same walking in the front door of Lynns and not seeing him there. He was a very kind and caring person with also a great sense of humor. He will most certainly be missed by all who came into contact with him. May he rest in peace and may you feel comfort, Diane, in knowing he was doing what he enjoyed. Gita White

Mac & I would like to express our deepest sympathies to Diane & all Bill's family & friends...especially Tom Bare. Bill was a true Christian Southern Gentle Man who "walked the Talk". He was a true friend. I will miss him, his sweet smile, & his hug & kiss every time he saw me. Much as I mourn his passing, as a Christian, I rejoice that he got to celebrate his "birth day" with Jesus! Rest in peace, Dear Bill!

Missing Bill so much already. Brian and I looked forward to seeing him every time we walked into Lynn's. So nice and polite and welcoming. He would keep a bag of cinnamon candy behind the counter because he knew I preferred those over the mints. What a great man. We will miss him so.
