Bill was one of the best friends I ever had and an even better police officer. We worked lots of cases together in the arson squad and he was a patient and great teacher. I will truly miss Bill calling me cinder head even in retirement in Florida. I am so happy that I got to see Bill several days before his passing when he was in rehab after his hip surgery. I am heartbroken. My life is forever changed. My condolences to all of his family. May he rest in peace.

Having known Bill since his days at St Mary 's high school I can say I have never heard anyone say anything bad about him. There are very few people in this world I can say that about. We lost a great guy.
