I am one of few that was lucky enough to call him Grandpa, I always knew he was amazing. Since his passing I have been learning more about his wonderful journey in life. He was the most kind and generous person and he touched everyone's life he entered in one way or another. I only wish he could have been here longer to make an impact on more lives. Grandpa will always be in my heart as I will strive to be more like him, and I will make sure my children will never forget him and the times they shared with him. Love and miss you always Grandpa!
Al was not only my friend, but he and I worked together and were fellow bankers.
Al was a great guy and I will miss our monthly lunches together. Go Bruins.
There are so many thoughts that make this so hard to put into words. I remember Grandma would pinch me and say "Your the spitting image of your Uncle Al" He was such a insperation to me & Jennifer. When Jennifer was so sick Al & her would pray over the phone. When she passed away he prayed with me. In so many ways he was like my Dad, his heart as big as gold and always right. At least he said he was. I'm so blessed to have him for he was my Uncle Al and will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prays are with Aunt Barb, Kathy, Carolyn and all of there families.
Al was one of the best neighbors i've ever had the pleasure of knowing...i will always remember the spirited conversations we would have on the porch or in the driveway discussing world situations and what were the causes & who was to blame...and what were the solutions...he always had it all figured out...right down to the bottom line...i miss those days...God bless
I will always remember when Uncle Al would come back to Omaha and the whole family would get together. Those were the good ole days. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
