Mike Dubois. I wish to offer my deepest condolences on your loss, your father was an inspiration for his service to our country.... your Father and you are in our prayers
Dear Dorothy and family and friends,
I will continue to honor Albert's sacrifice and service on my Fukuoka Camp 17 website. www.lindavdahl.com
Al was one of the first veterans who contacted my students, after they wrote letters, and we are still amazed at the great sacrifice these men gave and endured.
We will do all possible to be sure this neglected area of history is not forgotten.

Dorothy, It was an absolute honor to get to know you and Al these past 6 years. As a veteran, Al is a hero and deserves the utmost respect for his service. I offer you my most sincere condolences and will keep you, Al, and the family in my prayers.
My thoughts and blessings go out to the family.. Uncle Al you will be missed and you blessed many with your kindness, love and many teachings. I will never forget all you have done for me throughout my life.. i was happy to have been your niece, and to have spent many days with you.... I enjoyed our visits throughout my life time, but more so in your last 13 months.
