Dear Betty and Family, Jim and I were so saddened to learn of Grib's passing. I always admired you and Grib for the very apparent strong love and affection you had for each other. He was a very good person and his memory will live on with each of us. God bless you and your family as you live on with good memories of Grib in your hearts and mind.
Aleck was a dear man who was quick witted and funny. I had the immense pleasure of working with him at many auctions after my father, John Pound, died in 1979. Little did I know then, that he would become part of our extended family, after his son, Joe, married my sister, Phyllis. Always remember that Alzheimer's can't take away his love for each of you or the memories you shared. Love to all the family!!
So sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
Sorry to hear of the family's loss. I know Grib was fortunate to have Betty Jean as his long time companion.
Susan Nevitt and myself were talking of how much our Mom(Una Rose Nevitt Hafling R.I.P.) loved Grib as well as Betty Jean. I myself heard his name so much growing up and up until my moms death. He is in heaven now w her and my daddy.
