Letter to Joe(son):
Dear Joe, Mary, Henry, Owen and Daisy,
I am very sorry but also happy for your parents and entire family on the passing of your mom. I cannot imagine what you all had to go through and know from other friends who have had similar situations how hard it can be. I am sure your mom is at peace and I am sure she had a free pass to Heaven. Although I never met your mom, I am sure she was a wonderful woman just from knowing the fine people that both you and your dad are. I think it is great how close you are with your parents, I think the relationship you see between parents and children says a lot about a person, from looking at the Bante's I would have to say you are all excellent people. I think the St. Patrick's Day passing is an extra bonus and for all of you to be at home is the absolute best part.
I know that losing a parent can be pretty tough but you always have the great memories and I think that your dad will be able to move forward with his life again, I am looking forward to seeing him back at the games. I think you will be amazed tomorrow at the wake, you will see tons of people and hear stories about your mom that you have never heard before and you will hear new versions of stories you have heard hundreds of times from all her friends and family.
I truly hope that all goes as smoothly as possible for you and all your family.
Her friend Flo is welcoming her with open arms.
Note to Sarah:
Sarah, so sad to hear about your grandmother's passing. She was a beautiful and gracious woman.
Note written to Sarah:
I'm so sorry for your loss, Sarah. Your granny was a wonderful lady...so funny and nice and great to talk to. I'll never forget the wonderful times I had with her and your whole family at Pere Marquette. She always had something sweet to say to me. I remember she told me that I had a "lovely profile". That made me so happy - it's not a compliment one gets often! I'll always remember her kindness and happy spirit. I loved every moment.
Note to Sarah:
I've only met your grandmother once but when I met her she was so sweet and kind. She sat in her thoughts but observed us all with a kind response and how proud she was to see kids behave so well. I have too lost my grandmother around this time last year and know the feeling. She's in a beautiful place now and can rest. She will always be with you in spirit! Blessings to you, your grandmother and family.
