you are so missed, and loved always. I wish we could say that one day we'll be chatting on the phone about our families but sadly that cannot happen. I can only hope telling stories and recalling wonderful memories with you can do justice to explain the wonderful guy you were. I miss you so much big brother.

love you always,

My darling Andy How I miss you daily I know you are with God and I have to try and come to turns with that My life was so enriched by the short time I spent with you. Rest Easy knowing that I will always be their for your family Love always Aunt Bonnie
This year has been my toughest year to get through. Glenn and I have learned that our love can grow stronger even through tragedy. We have amazing children who have incredible strength and love. They have done so many thoughtful things to include their brother in each special event that has happened. These things always made Andy's presence felt and I am so blessed to have them.
I am so great full for Paige and her family always being there for us, offering comfort, support and love.
The many friends who have listened when I needed to talk or offered a comforting hug or word when it was so badly needed.
Finally, all the friends of Andy's who seem to find the time to send a timely email or chat and share not just stories about Andy but keeping our family up to date with how their life is going.
Andy may not be here in person but he will always be a feeling in our hearts.

God Bless,
As the anniversary of our son's death approaches I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind words and deeds during what can only be described as the darkest times of our lives. Bless you all for helping us and supporting us in so many ways.
Dianne and I have learned to deal with each day as it comes. Some are easier than others to get through.
We have learned to appreciate the glory of a sunrise and the solemnity of a sunset. To never forget the joy of bouncing a baby on one's knee or the comfort of holding the hand of a loved one.
I believe that the greatest blessing of being human is the ability to love. I also believe that it is our greatest curse.
Andy will be missed each and every day, for the rest of our lives.

Some of the ways that our son will be remembered include the following:

For the past year, many of us have been wearing burgundy arm bands with Andy's name and the words, "FLY HIGH, FLY PROUD".

A memorial scholarship has been set up for a graduating student from Seneca College's Aviation program, thanks to Mr. Frank Torres of Skywords and Seneca College.

On June 23rd there will be a tree dedication at Seneca's Markham campus for Andy as well as the three students who were killed on a training flight later in the year.

Our son Peter has contacted the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. and Andy's name has been engraved on their Wall of Honour at the Aviation Museum. Thank you son. I am so very proud that you have done this for your brother.

In closing, I would like to include Andy's favourite quote:

"When once you have tasted flight
You will forever walk the earth
With your eyes turned skyward
For there you have been
And there you will always long
To return."
Leonardo Da Vinci

God bless you all.

Andy you are so dearly missed each and everyday. I wake up in the morning hoping to see your face or hear your voice. Oh how I wish I could go back in time just to have a chat about your dreams and see your face light up when you talk about flying. There was that extra twinkle in your eyes when you talked about your plans with Paige.I was so blessed to have you as my son even if only for 23 short years. You made me proud, you treated people with a caring , loving nature and a smile on your face. You were a great brother who was always there for your siblings.
You knew the value of family and you expressed it proudly. I miss you so very much and love you dearly.
God Bless Bear,
Love Mom
