Anthea Jane Aldridge

Dear Tommy, Alisa, Kelly and Suzette, This is Ruth Starnes Whitley, Betty and Irby's 2nd born. We were so sad and shocked to hear of Anthea's passing. She is a big part of my fondest memories of childhood in Prospect. She was a great role model for Jane and me. She was beautiful - inside and out. She was so gracious and kind and never far from a burst of humor and warm laughter. Please know that you have been in our hearts and prayers since Rachel gave us this news. We love you all and would love to get in touch in the near future. Ruth and Gary Whitley and Jane and Bob Caldwell. Greer, SC

March13,2011 Dear Tom, Alisha, Kelly, Suzette. This is Ruth Starnes Whitley, Betty and Irby's 2nd born. We were so sad to hear of Anthea's passing. All of you are such a special part of some of my happiest memories from childhood. I'll always remember being in awe of Anthea's beauty - inside and out. She was an excellent roll model for Jane and me - so gracious, so kind, so ladylike but never far from a burst of humor and her sweet laughter. Please know that we have had you in our hearts and prayers ever since we learned of her passing. Thank you for this opportunity to get in touch. We love you all and would love to get caught up some time in the near future.

Aldridge family, I am very sorry for your loss. Anthea was such a sweet lady. She crocheted a blanket and hat for my daughter that always makes me think of her. You are all in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that losing some one you love is hard to go through. Times like these it is so important to go to God for comfort because he can gives us just the comfort we need to get through this troubled time. He promises us that if you draw close to him in prayer

Tom,
WE are sorry for your loss and that we could not come down from Wilkesboro. I talked with doctor on Sat. and he advised against the trip. You and family are in our prayers. Aaron & Kay Smith
