Arthur "Art" Doucette

April 4, 2013
To Maureen and family, I would like to express my sympathy to you all for your loss. I remember when I was young watching Art play baseball. I was 4 years younger and thought he was the best ball player I had ever seen. I'm sure he could have been a pro. My late wife Blanche, also from Amirault's Hill, and I enjoyed his music and fun personality. Although we lost touch over the years he will always be remembered and loved by those who knew him. God bless you all.

I could ask for no better grandfather, neither as a child or as an adult. He was a mentor, an artist, an adviser and a comedian. He was one of my favorite people in the whole world. I love you Grandad.

Grandad was one of the finest men I've known. He was a wonderful grandfather, and a superb role model. I have a lifetime of great memories of him. We shared the same birthday which was always fun. I will miss him every day for the rest of my life....goodbye Grandad....I love you, Glenn
