Augustine Avila

I can't even begin to express how sorry I am to Augie's family for their loss. Especially his wife Mercy, who was married to him for 65 years I believe. And of course, all of his children. He was a wonderful dad as far as I've always been told and an amazing husband. He was such a good, caring, and funny person. I cherish the few times I got to spend with him. I saw him less than a week ago at his son Leonard's house and he was just riding his little scooter, chatting away with me and my friend Janine. This was kind of a shock that he went this fast, but at least he isn't in anymore pain whatsoever and he's in a great and happy place now. I guess that is what matters. It was his time and we all will miss him so dearly much.

REST IN PEACE AUGIE!! YOU ARE LOVED BY SO MANY AND HAVE TOUCHED SO MANY LIVES! YOU WILL BE DEARLY MISSED BY ALL! I HOPE YOU'RE UP THERE FISHING, HUNTING, GAMBLING, ETC. WHATEVER YOUR DEAR HEART DESIRES!

Love always and forever,
Lacey
