Best teacher ever. I think about her often. She told me you could do anything you wanted to do and I have never forgot that and have always told my kids that. It is true.
My teacher, my friend. I could ask or tell her anything. My heart aches for this huge loss. She always made me, and everyone, feel so important to her. I will miss her so very, very much. Juanita, my heart hurts for you.
Ms. Gardner was my favorite teacher. My senior yr. was a very difficult time in my life due to family situations & other losses. Though I never told her-- I think she must have sensed it. She cared about me & helped me get my first job @ Nat'l Life Insurance when I graduated when I was 17. I had her for shorthand & typing. I still remember all the shorthand-- tho' it's not used anymore. She was a great teacher-expected a lot from her students & she impacted my life. I went back to see her yrs. after I had graduated & told her how much I appreciated her being there for me.
As a new bride, Cousin Betsy made me feel welcome to the family. I always looked forward to seeing her at family get togethers.I am satisfied she is at peace in the Lord.
Ms. Gardner was a wonderful person, I had her a teacher and knew her as a friend. You will be missed. Sheila Ray
