I am very sorry for the loss of your Mother, Grandmother, Grandmother-In-Law and Great-Grandmother. I know what a loss this is because I have known Bev for 52 years. I have so many wonderful memories of her that it would be hard to pick just one to share! However, there is one memory that will always stand out in my mind. My Father was in the hospital and my Mother was visiting him. She called me at home and told me I would have to go to the orthodontist by myself. I was horribly afraid of him and he was quite mean. I told my Mother I was too afraid to go by myself. She told me in no uncertain terms to get on my bike and go. I was about 11 at the time. SO, I went next door and asked Bev to go with me. She didn't hesitate a minute, got her keys and off we went. When he was his usual mean self, Bev got right up in his face and told him to behave. She became my hero that day and has been since.
I could sit and talk to Bev for hours! She could tell one funny story after another.
This world is a different place without Bev, but Heaven has an incredible new angel. I know Bev is up there taking care of my sister until I get there. I know I will see her again one day--that is one of the reasons it is called Heaven!
Bev will live forever in my heart!
I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Words cannot fully convey the peace we wish for your family right now. Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength, and always remember to express our Love to those still with us. May we all find comfort in God's words written at (Psalm 46:1) “God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found in times of distresses”.
