Sharing the grief of the loss of my brother with Marcy, Patti, Billy Joe, my great nieces and nephews, and our brother and sister. Billy Joe was not only a brother but also a wonderful friend. Our times together and conversations are filled with cherished memories. He was a loving brother who will be sadly missed. God bless all of you.
We have known Billy for many, many years. He was such a good friend and we will miss him very much. Our prayers are with Marcy and his family.
My thoughts and prayers are with Marcy and Bill's family members that I've heard so much about from my wife but have never met. I had the opportunity of spending a few hours with Bill when he visited my wife, his niece, and me in Tennessee a couple of years ago. I liked him immediately, and especially enjoyed the conversations we shared. I was looking forward to getting better acquainted with him. Condolences to the family.
My thoughts and prayers to Marcy, "Little Bill", Patti, the grandchildren, and great-children...all of whom he was so proud of. I loved Uncle Billy Joe very much and will miss him more than words can express. I have so many fond memories of him...the huge pink bulldog he brought me when he returned from Viet Nam, the guy he demanded an explanation from for having his niece (me) on the back of a Harley when I was 32 years old, the talks we shared, and the straight forward advice he provided. He perfected the balance between being tough as nails when necessary and the gentle kindness of a man who deeply loved his family whether they be his children, grandchildren, siblings, or nieces and nephews. He always made me feel like the most special niece in the world although I'm quite sure he made all of his nieces feel just as special. I will always remember him as a very special uncle. RIP Uncle Billy Joe. I'll continue to love you always. You may be gone but your huge presence and the tremendous impact you had upon my life will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts and Prayers to Marcy and his family, Our family has been touched by his life and how he spoke so highly of his "Lady" Marcelly, his family, and his love for being a soldier. We will miss you Billy, RIP our friend.
