I was shocked to read of Bonnie's passing in the Jaynotes! Bonnie and I taught together at Archbishop Blenk and had great times together. We shared offices, as she taught Spanish and I taught French. I have so many wonderful memories of those years...daily news about her little boy, Brian and her excitement about her new daughter, Laura. Bonnie loved both of them so much and was such a great mother. She also shared in my joy when my first son, David, was born. Little did we know that she would later teach him Spanish at Jesuit! He thought the world of her and always said how much he enjoyed her class. It was fun reminiscing again with Bonnie about our times together at Blenk. David, Brian, Laura, and grandchildren, may our loving Lord wrap his arms around all of you and bring you peace and comfort. I am sure the Lord welcomed His good and faithful servant with opened arms. RIP, Bonnie!

My condolences to your family at this time of loss. Although I did not know this lovely woman, I am so impressed by her smile and beauty of soul through her eyes. I wish I could have been mentored by her to become a better Foreign Language teacher. May God Bless you all- Sincerely, a French Teacher in NY State.

Happy Birthday Bonnie - There is not a single day that I do not think about you, but today is special. You enjoyed celebrating your birthday, and so many other special occassions. You had a way of making almost any day special, but today is truly special as it is your Birthday. You are deeply missed and will be forever in my thoughts.
Love Always, Phyllis

To say that Bonnie was an inspiration to me is such an understatement. We taught together at Blenk and Jesuit. Students and teachers prayed daily, in each class, for her healing. God rewarded those prayers with the best gift of all: rest in His kingdom. Although she will be sorely missed, her legacy will live on in the lives of so many that she touched. May she rest in peace.
