I met Carey via Jim Meade at a mortgage closing in the 1970's.

It was impossible not to like Carey. Always a gentleman, always filled with laughter, always honorable.

I was a member at Lake Nona from 1994-1996, and played a lot of golf with Cary. He was one of my closest friends during this period, of which I have fond memories. Funny, enjoyed life, & smart. I was with him when he payed Augusta, and as I remember, he reached number 15, the par 5 over the pond, in 2. To Debra & the family, my deepest condolences.

Carey Lynn was a great basketball player. We knew him from 1960-1967 when we lived in Chattahoochee. We have some great memories of him. He was a fine person and I treasure the telephone call he gave me approx. 2 years ago going over old times at Chattahoochee. Heaven's gain is our loss. Rest in peace Carey Lynn. Our hearts and prayers are with his family. Joe & Jo Ann Meacham, Erin, TN

To the family of Carey Lynn Hill I offer my deepest condolences to all of you. Growing up in a small town like Chattahoochee where everyone knows everyone from childhood to adult you don't fully appreciate or understand the closeness or values until after you leave. Carey Lynn had a tremendous impact on many boys now who are grown men.He was a small town legend whose memories will linger on and never be forgotten......and my heart goes out to each of you in the recent passing of him.....
