I had the privilege of meeting Carl and Jan on a trip through Alabama with friends who are great friends of Carl. They were two of the nicest, most hospitable people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Carl was a friendly, kind, and generous man who would do a favor for even a perfect stranger. He will be missed by every single person who knew him. He will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jan and family. Carl was indeed one of a kind!
Dear Jan and Family,
I served with Carl in Viet Nam. He was my best friend. We kept in touch all these years and I was able to see him and Jan on my way to Florida a few years ago. We loved to discuss Alabama and Iowa Hawkeye football.

Jan, Tim and I were so sorry to hear of Carl's death. He was a wonderful man, so friendly and outgoing. We both think that he and Mal Moore can discuss Alabama football all day long now! Love you Jan and appreiate all you do for Mama Cauthen.
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Carls passing. I enjoyed spending time with you and him during the visits I had doing his oxygen with Lincare. I will truly miss him he was such a joy and a blessing for all the stories he would tell me. My prayers are with you and your family at this time of your loss. I know he is smiling down on us from our Lords home now. God be with you always.
Mrs. Baker & Family, Prayers for you during this time. May God comfort you in the weeks ahead. Jacky & Jan Bellflower
