I recall my first of many encounters with Catherine when she came to the Dumb Friends League (where I worked) to pick up birds. I was younger and did not understand her dedication until volunteering at Wild Bird Information and Rehabilitation Center for five years; they are gods creatures that bring us so much joy. Blessings to her family and to all the birds under her care.
