Thank you Birdie. You were a blessing to all of the birds in our city. My children and I first met you when they found an injured robin. The last time I saw you, I brought you a tiny bluejay. I was trying to save it from my cat, and oh, you gave me such a lecture! It was just after you turned 90, and bless your heart, you were still helping the birds, even as you pulled an oxygen tube a mile long behind you. I feel like I've lost a dear friend.
