While reading Charles' obituary, I learned about Dot's passing. Somehow I missed the article in September.
They demonstrated the institution of marriage better than anyone I know. No one who knew them could ever doubt ther love for one another.
We had the privilege of attending the Sunday School class with Dot and Charles at Mandaren Baptist Church for more than 10 years. We spent many happy hours in their home as they graciously hosted many class socials.
Ms. Cora would play the piano and we would sing the "ole timey" hymns that touched our hearts until the night was far spent.
After we moved back to Augusta, we had a delightful visit from them in our home. Dot was our news-person for happenings of mutual friends for as long as her health permitted.
We loved them both and are saddned that are gone, but happily lookng forward to seeing them in heaven.
Our prayers are with you four daughters and your famalies in your loss.

May the family find comfort in the memories. Keeping in mind the Scriptural hope of everlasting life can help to sustain us during difficult times (John 17:3)
