My dear uncle may you be with dad making the big guy laugh the way you two use to when I was a boy. The three days across America were filled with great laughter and you will be missed. Love your nephew.
Please accept my condolences in the passing of your dad. He and I occasionally spoke after Mass. Not only did we have a shared Irish heritage and sense of humor, we both had a great love for Catholic prayers. Your dad gave me a copy of Pray Pray Pray which he often read at Mass. It was written by a Catholic priest in Ireland; a priest your dad knew well. I sent your dad a special bookmark that I made and I still have the note he sent me which I keep in that prayer book. May God Bless you in your sorrow. I know Heaven welcomes Dr. McNerney.
God bless you Uncle Chuck. Give dad a kiss for me.
