This was my DAD and was one of the most loving men I've ever known. He was a very strong catholic and while I know I did not make him proud of me for not staying in church for years, I found my back to the Lord quite a few months ago. While I did not have the same beliefs in every thing he did the catholic religion says (and some I still ponder and struggle with) I did believe in God and tried living my life the right way by helping others like he would and treating people with respect and dignity like he brought me up. I did pray to him in my own way and voluntered 25 years of my life to my community in the Fire Service giving up a lot. Only my family knows how much that was. But that's what Dad taught us. You always give back. I Love him and sure I never told him often enough. Just hope he knew it. I pray to join him again some day. In a few minutes in will be Mothers Day and while it won't be a great one here I am praying he is reunited with his mother in HEAVEN. REST IN PEACE DAD!
