Missing you Dan. Outside SEO they have landscaped it beautifully. Every time I walk through this new beautiful space I think of how much I miss you and wish you were here. Wishing I could sit on a bench with you planning our classes together and talk about math and our kids.
Dear Family and Friends of Dan,
I just learned of this terrible loss and wanted to reach out to send love your way. I was a student of Dan's at UIC, and he is the reason I am a middle school math teacher. He awakened a passion in me for teaching math conceptually to students in ways that allowed even the most reluctant learners to develop confidence and skill in a typically feared subject. His enthusiasm and genuine kindness were life-changing for me, and his absence in the education world is an irreplaceable loss.
May you find peace and comfort in the wonderful memories you shared.
Kerri and Family, Our deepest sympathies extend to you at this time of sorrow. We will always remember Dan fondly and his love for you and his family.
To our dearest Milt,
Life will never be the same for any of us who knew you. Kerri, Aidan and Vi will always be in our thoughts and lives. I hope in your peace you know how much you have positively affected us all and how much you will be missed. What an angel among us you were to the likes we may never know again. John and Grace talk about you daily and want to refer to you as an uncle. I hope that's ok.We love and admire you always and hope you are at peace. We love and and miss you more than you will ever know. Mar, Juanny and Grace
Danny and his brother Steve grew up right behind us in Des Moines, so my brother and I spent a lot of time playing football, basketball and baseball with the Miltner boys. Their backyard was known as "Milt-ropolitan Stadium" and it hosted so many fun times. I'll always remember Danny cracking us up with his play-by-play announcements as he stole the ball and ran around the defense for a touchdown.
Very sad and very sorry and just wanted pass on our deepest sympathy to Kerri, the kids, Steve, Roy & Frieda. Please hug each other for us.
