I just today heard of Danny's passing. As I ran into him over the last few months, I was struck by his courage and his determination. He fought a brave fight, but that's what we'd expect from Danny. As many have said here, he was the type of person everyone loved and respected. He always had a smile and a good word, even as he told me of his illness. While I know he's in a better place, I still grieve with you in your loss. I pray that you all will remember the many, many happy times you enjoyed with Danny, and in the process that God will comfort you. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Danny was a great guy. I knew him for about 15 years and he was always a positive light even when things weren't perfect. His passing is a great loss to us but I know he is in a better place. Love and blessings to his family and friends.
My prayers are with you and your Family. I am truly sorry about your loss. May God Bless you through this time of suffering.....
Jeanette, Lee and Danielle... I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that although I was out of town today and unable to make the funeral, you all were in my thoughts and prayers continually. I will continue to pray for you all. One of the things I loved about Danny is that he trusted me to coach when he wasn't there. Not everyone would have handed the reins over to a woman, but Danny would and did. I know you will all miss him so much. God bless all of you.
