I am saddened to learn of David's passing. He was instrumental in my success in the numismatic world. On my first day at Paramount International he took me out of the telephone sales training program and assigned me to work with Tom Mulvaney in the publication department. Thanks to David's intervention, I have had more than 35 years of success writing newspaper ads, newsletter articles, press releases, direct mail flyers, product inserts, auction marketing material, executive speeches, internet site copy and ghost-writing articles for the leading firms in our industry. I will add his name to my daily prayers.
May the God of comfort be with family and friends during this time of distress.
Dear Sharron and Heather,
On behalf of Ray and myself, on the passing of Dave, I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and remembering some very good times when we were all part of Paramount. Dave was truly an outstanding man.
Ray now lives in Alzheimer care but I know somewhere in his lost memory he would agree with me.
Love to you and your family,
My name is Pat Patrick and like Gene Alfarone knew David from 1st grade on at Beacon Hill through Franklin. His dad was the custodian at the Beacon Hill. Dave was one of the very good guys and a friend to everyone. My condolences to the family.
So sorry to hear of David's passing. My father Wayne Smith use to take David and me fishing on opening day at Lake wilderness. We always had a great. Philip Smith
