David was my manager at EDS in Plano, TX, about 15 years ago, while working on the Client Executive Development Program. I just heard of his passing from a former colleague that I met by happenstance. I have so many good memories of this kind-hearted giant (he indeed was very tall). He was a great conversationalist, a tireless learner, a sincere individual given to some playful goofiness, and a modest man given to recognizing others for their gifts and contributions. I was so happy to hear over the years that he went into the field of higher education because it truly was the summation of his dreams to impact people in that way. No doubt his loss continues to be felt by many. My deepest condolences to his family. "David, I still remember team debriefs at Starbucks! You valued celebrating milestones as much as the work." ~Lucy Lee (Plano, TX)
Dr. Green was truly an amazing professor and friend. My prayers go out to his family. An Angel awaits with the Lord. I thank God for him being an Angel this day.

Only four things have tended to sit on my desk at home: my PC, landline phone, EDS mug filled with pens, and the crystal eagle that David presented me when I graduated from EDS's Leadership Development program in 1998. I've always treasured that eagle ... along with David's habit for fun. I remember, for instance, one evening working late in my cube, thinking I was alone, when David (it turned out) started lobbing crumpled paper balls at me from his office.
He was a happy man, who always made me happy. I'm even smiling as I type this =0)
David was such a positive person, always happy and always smiling! I am so sad to hear of his untimely passing. We worked together in Southfield for EDS and then in Plano, TX, in the Leadership Development Group. He was one of my favorite people. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
