On Behalf of the Dorothy Benson Adult Day Center. We offer our deepest sympathies to the family. We loved Mr. Gray who was truly a wonderful gentleman.
Denver: 'Won't ever be able to see the UN/Lincoln campus, or a Husker football or baseball game, without thinking so very fondly of you. /// I'll especially miss sending our family journal to you each year ... and getting your postcard reply. /// It was an honor to be your friend for so many decades. /// Great and good people make the world and those around them better -- you did that for nearly a century. Great and good people go to a great and good place -- that's where you are now. /// Put in a good word for me and save me a place.
David & Russell,
Sorry about the loss of your dad. Thinking about the Grays and the Devers during this sad time.
Please know that Denver was remembered today at SAR. There were many comments from long time members. As you know, we celebrate his service to all...particularly our country. How many brave persons can we honor who were at Pearl Harbor on that fateful day? God Bless each of you. Harold L. Brooks, Chaplain, Atlanta Chapter SAR
I still cannot believe that Denver was 95. What an incredible life he led. I had met him through Republican politics and he talked me into running for the Atlanta School Board. Though I hadn't seen him in a number of years I always thought highly of him. May he rest in peace and receive his blessings.
