Ronnie and I met in 1989 when I started doing volunteer work with the police department. I was immediately drawn to his kind, unassuming manner. It was a pleasure to have known him. God speed Ronnie.

I never realized how much he did for our community-like most kids we only knew growing up that our Dad's were Policemen or Salesmen-like our Dad's were. They went to work.came home, and we had "family" time. We gathered on each others lawns-the adults talked and the kids played until it was time to go in and go to bed. After we were in bed I am sure alot more talking went on as we slept-not a care in the world for us-all the care in the world for them........I love and miss my 2nd Daddy-sleep in peace my "Dad"-I love you.

Ruth and family,

Tammy and I were shocked to learn of Ronnie's passing. It is true that the good die young.
Ronnie was always the epitome of truth, integrity, character, ethics and moral being. Over the many years of our personal and professional friendship, I cannot count the times I called upon him as a trusted friend and advisor for guidance and advice. He was always available and willing, never too busy. He not only treated his friends and family in such a manner, but strangers and those he encountered in his daily life.
God has truly gained an ANGEL and we are all better off for having known and shared with Chief Ronnie Stone.
All our thoughts, love and prayers to you and the family.

I knew Chief Stone from my days as a Prosecutor and Judge. I witnessed his leadership for many years. He ran his department with dignity, honor, and integrity. He was a great public servant and someone you could count on. He could not have done his job without the support of a fine and loving family. Thank you for sharing him with the community.
