Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
I love you, my Aunt D. Thank you for everything, from silly card games and 8-Tracks to movies & candy and trips to the zoo & Pontchartrain Beach. For being a wonderful great Aunt to my children, and a godmother to my daughter. I even loved the opportunity to answer your confounding computer questions. I love you and will miss you terribly.
My son, Alex (then 9), wrote a paper on Aunt Diane several years ago that I'd like to share here: "My Aunt Diane volunteered with the JayCees, which is a leadership training organization. She went to nursing homes and raised money for charities like St. Jude Children's Hospital and the American Cancer Society. She gave food baskets to needy families and bought items for homeless shelters. She volunteered for 15 years. I admire my Aunt Diane and I'm very proud of her."
We will miss you. It was an honor to have you get to know my son Little David after David.God bless you and your family during this difficult time. Love , Yvette and David Paul Prouet
