We are so incredibly sorry for your loss. We never met Donny, but from what we've read, he was an amazing son, friend and good soul.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family.
Ron and Linda Knight
My heart is heavy after hearing of dear Donny's passing from my son Robbie, who loved Donny so very much. Donny and Robbie shared many experiences together (at one time while they were still in high school, I think he, Donny and Cyrus, could have passed as the Three Muskateers). Donny was always a pleasure to be around when he and Robbie were "hanging out" at our home in Issaquah, and I can still see his ready smile. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad, sad time.
My prayers go out to Donny's family. So sorry to hear about his death. May he rest in peace.
This man was a great friend of mine! We met in Mrs. Chavier’s class in the 1st grade-- both tall and a bit goofy, and both with a crush on Katie Sharp (the 1st grade knock out of course, come on you all remember). So that would put us at age 6 or 7! Don Adler didn't always love me, in 8th grade we got in a fight at school, but at the end of the day we were real good friends...
By the end of high school, I had so many memories and so many stories. Some I can tell, and some I can only remember bits and pieces of but I will always remember the smile from ear to ear!
At the end of the day Don had a lot of friends and a lot of love!
My whole family loves and will always love Don! If Don had 10 dollars he would give me 9 if I needed it. I remember being next to him after he cut his arm, all fired up at Coach Sage!
I remember ditching BOB (IHS security) when we couldn't leave for assemblies anymore.
Don was supposed to be the best man in my wedding. His lung collapsed the week before and was hospitalized for 2 weeks. He told me he was getting on that plane regardless!!!! He threw ME and all of our friends an amazing bachelor party! Many of us had just turned 21 and had never been to Vegas before, and Donny knew how to show us a really good time- he was always a great host.
Don was my good friend, Don respected and appreciated nice things, Don loved hard, Don worked hard, and Don played hard!
At the end of the day all he ever expected was a smile, a high five, and a thank you...
The last Don; that is!!!!
I LOVE YOU, I appreciate you, and I will always miss you!!!!!!!!
What a genuinely nice guy-- I will really miss the times I spent with Donny--he was a great friend of Ky's and the DeWald family. I can say from the bottom of my heart that it was a pleasure to call Donny a friend-- what an awesome personality! Our thoughts and prayers are with Donny's sister, parents, and family. Man, life is short... only the good die young. You are loved.
