Cat, I am so sorry to hear of Don's death. I have very fond memories of the good times we all had at the beach house in Pensacola.
I flew many fine trips with Don at National, Pan Am and Delta Airlines as a Flight Engineer on the B-727. Don was a fine professional pilot and had a keen sense of humor. We always got along well. He spoke often of his family, usually reminding me he had a son with my same first name, Steve. He was also proud of his service as a pilot with the Navy. I know I speak for the whole NAL/PAA/DAL family when I say he will be truly missed.
Cat and Family,
Herb and I want to express our condolences in the passing of Don. He was a one-of-a-kind and wonderful man. I know he will be greatly missed at Largo Mar by many Owners. I don't think I have met anyone there that cared more about the place and saw to it that the Owners best interests were kept at heart and the property taken care of than Don. It was a privilege to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and we were sadden to hear of his passing.
So sorry to hear the loss of Don. His presence will truly be missed at Largo Mar. My children and I always looked forward vacationing with Don and Cat celebrating his and Dads birthday. I know Don and my Dad are together looking down at us. Cat and family my heart is with you.
Cat and Steve and Family,
I am so sorry that we've lost Don. He was a mentor, inspiration, and close personal friend. It was a privilege and pleasure to fly with Don. My condolences to you all.
