I wish I'd known Dorothy better - she was a great spirit, indefatigable and unquenchable, always with a unique point of view and unafraid to express it, filled - when I knew her through CCAL - with the wisdom and humor of her many years.

Betsy & family, your Mom was a wonderful woman. I will never forget all the things she taught me- my most vivid memory is the "loom". For some reason that really caught my attention and used to love to see her sit and do that, along with her sheep wool. We had some great times during our childhood and her home was always open to the neighborhood. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Dawn (Roodhof) Benjamin

Dear Betsy, Nancy, Priscilla, David and Chuck (and all the grandchildren), I am so sorry. I enjoyed reading her blogs and really wish that I would have been able to spend more time with her.
