You have my condolences for this great loss. May the God who gives peace be with your family. (Romans 15:33)
Mr. Horan, John and Robby,
Mrs Horan was a ton of fun and a great lady. She possesed unmatched elegance and an amazing mind. She will be missed by many!
Dear Mr. Horan, Rob, and John,
There are no words to describe the loss of Dorothy. She remains a "true-grandam" of Greenwich with a loving family gifted with unsurpased social elegance and grace. I am grateful for the way she always treated as as "young adults", while we were still growing up in the community. She valued our opinions, while sometimes challenging them, and taught us that "manners count" in a fast changing world.
I will forever cherish the special kinship we shared at her formal dinner parties at Lucas Point. One always knew she was really hosting the event to make her guests feel special. Looking at her record of service to the community, one can only conclude that she felt the same way about people she had never met, but strongly and sincerly helped.
Laurie and I were very saddened to hear the news. Mrs Horan will always stay in our thoughts and prayers.
Our condolences to the whole Horan Family. Dorothy was like a second mother, and a second grandmother to our daughters. She will be missed greatly!
