Dorothy and her sister, Billie Jean, and their parents, are permanent and loving memories of our shared high school days. I will never forget them.
Miles, I have fond memories of your mom...when we would swing by her office the time she worked for the cityeven days when she was real busy...I remember her giving us the 3rd degree right before we would go hang out on Friday nights making sure we were accountable, wanting us to be safe...truly a wonderful mom. Cherish your memories, Blessings to you!
To express our deep sympathy to you on your loss. We thank Dorothy for being there for Marvin while he served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict & also being a 28 year member of the American Legion. May God's Speed Be With This Air Force Family.
Marvin, Miles, Lora and kids - I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are all in my prayers. I am so glad I had the pleasure of meeting Dorothy, she will be greatly missed. If there is anything I can do for you'll please let me know.
I went all the way through school with Dorothy and graduated with her in 1949 from Stephen F. Austin High School. I haven't even seen her since then, I don't believe. I have very sweet and pleasant memories of Dorothy, especially in high school. I was so disappointed that she didn't come to any of the reunions that I attended from Oklahoma. I remember her sister well too, Billie
Jean Hearne. I pray for God's blessings of comfort and peace for all of Dorothy's family. Lots of Love in Christ, Irene Jones Simmons
