Dorrie Wells Adams (Wells)
John I know you will miss her. Dorrie was much more than a sister-in-law; she was a sister that I didn't have. A sister that I could talk to when I was down or sitting on the world. She was my friend 24/7, aunt to my children and grandchildren. Only she and I could share what it was to be married to brothers that are very close to each other. Now, she has left us. As she walks down that street of gold to her new home, her journey if finished.
And the street of the city was pure gold.
This is James David Adams, I am so sorry that I could not make it to the funeral services today. I loved Dorrie with all my heart she was so sweet and always funny, I remember seeing her at the family reunions every year. She will be missed by the entire family. Love you Dorrie
To Dorrie Family,
I am very sorry for your lost, I remember playing with Dorrie when I was a kid at great Ma Ma house in Glenville, at time like this you always wish you could have been together and stayed in touch with each other. One day we will all meet again in our heavenly home and rejoice with each other.Dorrie and I were 2nd cousins. Wendell Wells is my father which was Dorrie 1st. cousin. I feel for each of you as her family and friends May God Bless each of you during this time.
