Ann and Family, Bob & I were saddened to learn of Buddy's passing, as we were out of town at that time and just learned about it. He was a wonderful dentist, as well as a good friend over many years. I especially remember his kindness to me upon applying and attending U. of Pa. School of Dental Hygiene. Our thoughts and prayers are there with you and your family. Love, Bob & Nancy Taylor (Holtzclaw) Schappert
Sorry to hear of your loss.
I have missed him as my Dentist for he really cared about people and showed it in his work.
My father and him were good friends and know will be laughing in heaven together once again talking about farming and other things.
Dr. Hogg was a great dentist and greater friend to our family. My dad, Lester Long was so saddened to hear of his passing and began recalling all the great conversations they'd had over the years and spoke of him as his buddy. Dr. Hogg seemed like part of the family and was so very good to us all. We were so touched when he came to visit us at my sister's visitation and memorial service. That confirmed our feelings for each other were mutual. He leaves us fond memories and thoughts of a great person. We feel fortunate that our lives were touched by his.
The Long family.
We knew Buddy as a friend, a gentleman farmer, a fisherman a barbershop singer. a loyal church member and a devoted husband. He did , indeed, "fight a good fight" and now rests from his labors. Ann, as we share a portion of your grief, we continue to value your friendship.
Our favorite rembrance of Jesse is that of the farmer eager to share his bounty with friends & neighbors. We especially remenber the sweet potatoes & corn.He cautioned us not to rinse the soil off the potatoes until we wanted to cook them; removing the soil shortens the time they can be stored. In addition we were also treated to his love of barber shop singing. His joys were planting, growing & sharing his musical talents with friends. Pat & Willard Hoskins, Newport News,Va.
