He was our North, our South, our East, our West. Our working week, our Sunday rest. Our moon, our midnight, our talk, our song. We thought he would live and love past us. We were wrong.

To the friends and family of Dr. Richard Adams,
I graduated medical school in 1993 with Richard. He was the funniest, most lighthearted, most genuinely nice person in the class. When times got too serious (like when studying way to hard for exams, or when trying so hard not to pass out in cadaver lab), he would crack a joke or make a face and the whole room would lighten up. He made such a difference for some of us in that class....we couldn't take ourselves too seriously and had to enjoy the ride when Richard was around. What a joy he was to learn with!
I am so sorry for your loss. What a delightful man.

Dear Julie and family, It is only today that I have learned that Dr. Adams has passed away. Please know how sad I am to learn this news and that I hope all of you know how much he was cared for by his patients. He was not just my doctor, he was someone I had truly grown to care about. May god help you through this rough time. Peace be with you! Much love, Diane Tirado
