We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Earl Barkley. We feel very blessed to have known him and his family through his Grandson Jason. The entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Through Him you will find your strength. Love and Hugs, Dianne and Dennis Berry (Raleigh, NC)
Earl Barkley was one of the finest men I have ever known, he was also my dear and precious Uncle. I am so thankful for all the times I have spent talking with my Uncle Earl about the rich history of the Barkley/Farrar/Starnes Families. He always made sure the family got together every summer, after school ended, to spend a week at the beach. He was so family oriented and hosted our Barkley Christmas Party at his and Aunt Louise's home. He was "one of a kind" and if you were fortunate enough to know him, you will never forget him. At this time our hearts are very heavy but I know at some time, we will see each other again. My sympathy goes out to my precious Aunt Louise, my dear sweet cousins, Pat, Tim and John and the extended family. Uncle Earl, you will be tremendously missed, my life was so much better because of the Barkley Family I was born into and loved. Your niece, Chris Barkley Hooper
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Louise and family.
We will miss Earl and feel our lives were enriched knowing such a fine person.
