Eddie and I met at Lackland when we were in basic training. He was so funny and so amazing. I am so sorry to hear that he is no longer with us.

Dear Friends and Family:

My heart was saddened to hear about the passing of my friend Eddie L. Allen, my thoughts and prayers go out to the family for your great loss.

I met Eddie while stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton Ohio. After his retirement we worked several projects with youth from the base and Dayton community. He served as my personal counselor and for many of the youth and adult we served. He was very instrumental in providing wisdom, encouragement to those involved in our ministry as well as my family.

Eddie will be missed, his smile, words of encouragement and just being a fun person to be around. He will be remember and loved for a long time. May God bless these memories, which will live on in all of the lives he has toughed.

Blessings to his family as they press on in these difficult days, you will be always in our prayers.

Sincerely,

John Mark Edwards, (Brother Mark)
Chief Master Sergeant USAF Ret.,

I am so sorry for your loss. I had no idea Mr. Allen had passed. You have been through way to much this past few months but I hope you take comfort, that Milani has her grandpa with her now. My heart breaks for your family. God bless all of you!

Mr. Allen was a second father to me. He taught me so much and truly changed my life. During a very hard time in my life he didn't distance himself or his family from me, but embraced and supported me. He played a significant role in shaping who I am today. I will miss his wisdom, his encouragement, and definitely his humor. Thank you Lissa for sharing your daddy with me! Love to you, Vella, Tyson, and your mom, as well as the entire Allen family. He will most definitely be missed.
