Eddie Leon Allen 1953 - 2013
Tuesday, May 21, 2013
There are no words to express the extreme loss I feel. A true hero has been snatched from this world and somehow the air is harder for me to breathe. Nevertheless, I am honored and blessed to be able to say, "Eddie L. Allen was my dad". I thank him for loving me, for always encouraging and supporting me, for all of the opportunities he afforded me and, most importantly, for believing in me so strongly that I couldn't help but believe in myself! I could not have asked for a better father, friend, role model, confidant and mentor! God blessed me with him and for that I am eternally grateful. I am also very proud to be a part of his living legacy. IN HIS HONOR, I COMMIT TO BEING THE BEST ME I CAN BE AND TO ALWAYS PAY IT FORWARD. I will keep my head held high and continue to live but I will NEVER be the same! I LOVE YOU, DAD AND MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!
