"Little Ellen" as we always called Ellen as we were growing up together was my favorite cousin. I always loved when Ellen, Rowie,(her sister) and "Buzzy" (her brother) would arrive with their parents to visit us in Virginia or we would go to Florida. Such wonderful memories I have. Then later as young adults when Ellen visited with her parents and she told me all about her Bill and how very happy he made her. I think I knew more about how she felt about Bill at that time then her parents knew. Then more recently, when my husband, Michael, and my brother Carter and his wife, Barbara, attended Rosalie's wedding (Ellen's daughter) will be memories that I will treasure. It was so much fun to see Ellen so happy and excited for her "baby girl." I love the picture that is here on this site because it reminds me of the wonderful memories I last have of Ellen. I know that Ellen is in a more beautiful place with God where she is no longer in pain and with those that have passed before us. However, I will miss seeing her. I take comfort, though, in knowing that one day we will all be together again.
