I will be praying for all that knew and loved cousin Elmo Lewis because it's a little weird when you don't even know that your first cousin name is Earl. That just seems like a tiny name for my big COUS. I may not be as small as I was years ago but when you had the four Stooge's, Jerry, Elmo, Glen and my brother Wayne YOU surely thought of yourself as small. I remember one summer coming back from the coastal area where we had moved to, to spend a month with different family members. Up anywhere around Austin is what my two brothers and I felt was home. Well we had spent a few days here and there and then Jerry and Elmo came to get us go to Spicewood for a few days. The guys take off and Uncle Dawson takes my little brother and and I to the creek to swim. Man that was some COLD water. Anyway that night after we went to bed with Randy and I on a pallet the next thing I know I woke the whole house, screaming for someone to put the fire out in my Palm. I still carry a scare where that blasted scorpion got me. I was still crying the next day and made them take me back to Austin because I didn't care if they said he was dead or not there had to be babies. Elmo was the oldest but he was also the one that tried to console my. The other two just kept telling me to shut up. Elmo showed them he set me up on his lap and told them to shut up. I got to cry on the big guys shoulder. I am so sorry for your lose but there will be a time you can look back at the good times. Angus I'm sorry but I can't be with all of you tomorrow, I am in Bastrop but I have been sick since Sunday morning. I send my love and my number if I can ever be of service to anyone of you. 409-770-4786. With loving memories of my cousin EARL ELMO LEWIS.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lewis family. Elmo is dearly missed and will continue to be until that glorious day we get to see him again. The pain of losing a loved one can be eased with time. Keep the memories alive and don't be afraid to talk about him like he's right there with you. Go rest high Elmo, your work here is done.
