Barb and Nancy,
I just learned of your Dads passing and was immediately flooded with wonderful memories of him, mostly the teasing, the pipe and how he'd take it out to talk to you but quickly put it back in, and his friendly smile he always had for me when I walked through your door. What a wonderful man he was. I wish I would have heard sooner so that I could have come by to offer my condolences. You are both in my thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace.

Thank you for the nice luncheon you gave us after the funeral of Gene. We had the opportunity to reminisce about Gene and all the neighborhood events. At our table we had a lot of laughts in thinking back of happenings 'over the fence'.
A fence makes good neighbors, especially to climb over or hang over and talk.

Barb and Nancy...Please accept my deepest sympathies on the passing of your father. Having Santa Claus in your backyard growing up was pretty cool. When I remember your dad my first thoughts are that white hair and white beard followed closely by the smell of his pipe. I will never forget that silly grin he always had when you talked to him and how he loved to yank your chain. He truly was a terrific guy and I will take many great childhood memories with me through life. I don't believe for a minute that it was coincidence that two Pollacks like Gene and Frank wound up living in each others backyards. It was destiny and I will treasure all of my time spent with your family.
