I worked with Evan in Branson for 5 years, actually working for him to update, maintain and repair his billboards. He gave me many memories and a great friend.
"Bunny," as he was known in high school, was a year ahead of me. He was handsome, full of fun and a good friend. My sympathy goes out to his family.
I hold fond memories of Evan... what a wonderful and fun loving person who cared deeply for his children. I will always hold wonderful memories of him. He was a good friend. May he rest in peace.
Evan. How fortunate we were to share in his wonderful life. His friendship was eagerly offered and greatly appreciated. Perhaps, he and Therm are onto some new scheme in the next realm... Evan will be missed by many and my sincere condolences and love to all his beautiful family.

Evan was a welcoming neighbor when I moved into the home just south of his on the Missouri River in 1981. i admired him as a resourceful, energetic, and helpful man. His creative spirit was evident in the home he and Brenda had built. His children's imaginations were energized by his own. My wife Beth and I hold dear the time Evan and his family were near.
